Invite you to the New Kailash Hostel And to partake in an Adventure in Nepal with optional extension to Bhutan

We have put together this 14 day itinerary (with an optional 5 day extension to Bhutan) to enable you to visit Nepal in comfort and experience first-hand this very beautiful part of the world and the reason why so many westerners are inspired by its scenery and its people. The trip will also enable you to see first hand the work that we are doing and the benefits that the students of the Kailash Hostel in Nepal derive.

Our adventure begins with several days exploring Kathmandu after which we fly west to the beautiful Pokhara valley and a 4 night trek in the Annapurna foothills (for those that prefer not to trek then a stay in the award winning Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge can be arranged).

From here we head down to the Chitwan National Park where one has the opportunity to enjoy elephant safaris, walks and boat trips from the world famous Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge.

We then return to Kathmandu to visit the New Kailash Hostel and
also a visit to the Young Hearts boarding school where the children study.

In Kathmandu your host is Steve Webster who is the Himalayan Youth Foundation’s Development Coordinator and advises on the welfare of the children as well as the management of the hostel. Steve has lived in Nepal for over 20 years and has two children aged 8 & 13.

For those that have extra time available we are also offering a 5-day extension to the Kingdom of Bhutan and a visit to the Choki Traditional Arts School and the surrounding areas.
