When you join HYF you may be assured your contribution is used as
stipulated by you. At present, all our individual donations go 100%
to the children. The overhead is totally covered by corporate donations.
Many of our students are the first in their families to have the
opportunity to learn in a formal classroom. Your support helps
us
to give the children of the Himalayas a chance to join the world
of today while preserving their own culture and traditions..
How
you can change a child’s life
Sponsorship ( Kailash Hostel: A six-year commitment )
Full sponsorship is a long-term commitment. Financial support is encouraged for
the duration of the child's education at the Kailash Hostel. The sponsor receives
photographs and biographical data of the child, occasional letters and greeting
cards along with the child's quarterly progress reports. We welcome and encourage
our sponsors to correspond with their children and even to visit them
Full year care and education of a child while he or she is living
at the Kailash Hostel in Kathmandu.
Annual
sponsorship: $1,400 per child
This amount covers tuition, food, books, lodging, uniforms and
medical care.
